What is an Agent?

In WhataTalk, an Agent is any team member who has been invited to access a specific Business Workspace. Agents are the individuals who actually use the platform they read and reply to customer messages, launch campaigns, manage contacts, and build templates.

Because WhataTalk connects to the WhatsApp Business API (which does not have its own user interface), the Agent system is how you distribute the workload of customer communication across your team, replacing the need to share a single physical phone using the standard WhatsApp app.
